Onorato AI was born at Leitat, a technology center with over 120 years of history, founded in 1906 in Terrassa, and dedicated since its inception to driving industrial and scientific innovation. Today, Leitat has a multidisciplinary team of more than 500 experts specializing in artificial intelligence, robotics, computer vision, biomedicine, nanotechnology, and advanced materials. This environment of excellence has made the development of Onorato AI possible, integrating cutting-edge technology with a strong foundation in applied research.
Since 2008, Leitat has participated in more than 370 projects, including initiatives under Horizon Europe, and has a specialized deep-tech unit—Leitat Ventures—that accelerates technology transfer to the market. Onorato AI is a product of this innovation ecosystem, designed to deliver real solutions with social, economic, and environmental impact.
